As soon as the Oceoprotec© application is completed, the owner of the boat receives a certificate and a warranty number. Thanks to this registration the owner can attend to any Oceoprotec applicator to assert his right of warranty. It also provides him a traceability, more particularly in the case of sale.

Warranty period : it starts from the moment when the Oceoprotec© applicator deliver the conformity certificate and give the owner his boat back and ends 5 years later.

Warranty exercise : If a problem with the efficiency of the antifouling is established, or if there is an alteration in the coating as indicated above, the owner can exercise the Oceoprotec© warranty.

What is covered by the warranty : the working force and the supply of products to treat the defective areas.

Who is the guarantor? The warranty provided involves the applicator who worked on the boat and Oceoprotec S.A.S.

What happens 5 years later : at the end of the 5 year warranty, a diagnosis of the hull will be carried out by an Oceoprotec applicator. Some repair work could be advised if necessary. A re-surfacing of the hull will provide another 5 year warranty.
